On this episode of the Jazz Transcription Clinic Podcast, Mirko Guerrini interviews the guest jazz doctor: DANNY MARKOVICH.
I contacted Danny after I saw a video he posted on YouTube titled: 'Stop Transcribing'. I couldn't resist, and it has been exciting to discuss the matter with someone that has a different opinion on transcriptions.
In the end, I think we agreed on a lot of things, even though there are some points of disagreement.

Danny is the founder of the band MARBIN.
MARBIN is a progressive jazz-rock band based in Chicago, IL, with a unique story that stands out in today's music world. With a do-it-yourself approach, Marbin started touring extensively in 2011, bringing their original instrumental music to every part of the United States. Through word of mouth, Marbin has gained hundreds of thousands of devoted fans all over the world and has sold tens of thousands of albums.
